Bed and breakfast & racing stud in Normandy, France.

The Headquarters Stud was established in 1999 in Normandy, France.

Occupying 26 acres of prime Normandy land in the beautiful area known as the Pays d'Auge, well known for its Calvados (Apple Brandy) and the breeding of thoroughbred racehorses.

Most stallions in France stand at established studs within a 50 mile radius.

For peace and tranquility the stud is unrivalled, situated on a on a hill overlooking the quaint timbered village of Cambremer but still within close proximity of the cosmopolitian and very elegant seaside town of Deauville.

Our accomodation consists of four luxury chambre d'hote rooms and a gite. Alison and Tim the proprietors will offer you a very warm welcome should you wish to stay.

Many winning horses have been bred at the stud and with our commitment to quality the stud's reputation continues to improve.

From the excellent results of the young stock bred and raised here, we have also gained the confidence of the sales companies.

Therefore we are able to place the young progeny well in the sales catalogues.

The most famous horse to spend time here was a filly purchased as a foal with a view to re-selling as a yearling but she was shrewdly retained. Her name was Green Noon and she won her first three races and was second in the Prix Marcel Boussac, making her at the time the second best two-year old filly in Europe.

It is our aim to offer both quality and value and we look forward to welcoming you or your horses to our stud.
